there is No Blast crater underneath the Lunar moduleThe Claim:
Before the Apollo landings, NASA scientists thought that the engine firing may create a blast crater underneath the lunar module. If nasa had truly landed on the moon, there would have been a blast crater underneath the lunar module to mark its landing. Pictures of the real site, however, showed no such crater, not even a big depression in the surface, as though the module was just “placed there.” The surface of the moon is covered in fine lunar dust, and even this doesn't seem to have been disturbed in any way in the photo evidence.
The Counter Argument:
Much like the waving flag theory, however, the lack of an impact crater has a number of potential explanations. NASA explains that the module required significantly less thrust in the low-gravity conditions than it would have done on Earth. The surface of the moon itself is solid rock, so a blast crater probably wouldn’t be feasible anyway – in the same way that an aeroplane doesn’t leave a crater when it touches down on a concrete airstrip.
Although there are not too many explanations for this theory, that does not mean that the moon landing was a hoax. The moon is solid rock, and with how light the module is there would not have been a crater.
